With over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, Margan May began her career managing and opening hotels across major cities. After graduating with a degree in Hospitality Management, she traveled with corporate teams and led on-site training, playing a pivotal role in launching new properties, cultivating elevated guest experiences, and developing a sharp eye for refined, well-functioning spaces. These formative years instilled in her a deep understanding of how luxury, comfort, and atmosphere work in harmony skills that would later shape her approach to design.
Her evolution into interior design emerged organically. While furnishing Airbnb properties and overseeing renovation projects, Margan’s creative vision began to take form. She developed a distinctive sensibility rooted in thoughtful detail, quiet elegance, and purposeful design that now defines her work. This intuitive, hands-on experience continues to guide her approach to creating spaces that are not only visually refined but deeply personal.
In 2019, she founded Margan May Design, a collaborative design practice dedicated to crafting interiors that are elegant, timeless, and sophisticated. Partnering with trusted architects, builders, and artisans, she leads each project with clarity, creativity, and care. Her design process is immersive and highly tailored, resulting in homes that reflect her clients' individuality while maintaining a cohesive and elevated aesthetic.
